Drop Bottom

Drop Bottom is a Standard. Drop bottom containers offer a fast, efficient and safe way to move and place parts for assembly and many other types of operations. Using one of our custom-designed workstations, parts are discharged through the bottom of the container and placed at the fingertips of your operator. With a lift truck mast attachment, the drop bottom container can be used without a stand enabling, easy discharge of the contents.

The large size (see below) is standard and special configurations are available by order. Many options are available including in-turned or out-turned corrugations and reinforced seams.

Corrugations may be turned in or out. Interior dividers.
Length and width may very according to user’s needs. Gates of wire or perforated sheet offer accessibility and visibility.
Height varies in 3” increments. Underclearance is from 4” to 12”.
Top flanges may be turned in or out. Box and platform gauges from 7 to 14 gauge.
Corrugation depths vary to provide additional design flexibility. 2-way or 4-way entry
Oil tight designs. Hinged bottom dump containers for scrap handling.
Doors for gravity discharge.
